Food in Romania, even in restaurants, is not that expensive as one would expect.

So a breakfast would be from 2.5 EUR to 4 EUR, a lunch from 5 EUR to 10 EUR and dinner from 5 EUR to 7.5 EUR.
A bread in a super-market is between 25 Eurocents and 50 Eurocents.
A bottle of 0.5L water in a super-market is about 0.50 Eurocents.
A 2L bottle of Coca-Cola in a super-market is 1 EUR.
A 0.5 Beer is 0.50 EUR in a supermarket and starts from 1 EUR in a bar or restaurant.

Those are general prices, some products may be cheaper than mentioned, some products may be more expensive, depending on the place you buy them from.
