	My trip		Area: Rodnei - Maramures County Level rate: Easy - Medium Dates of departure: May - November 2004. Nr. of team members: 2 - 10 Trip duration (days): 8 Required gear: Backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, food, spot light (preferably frontlamp), good boots, waterproof and warm changing cloths, water can, sweets.
			1^ST DAY, SATURDAY Transfer by car from the airport Bucharest Otopeni to The Red Lake Pitching the tents in the Red Lake area (heigh: 980m). Optional: The Bicazului Gorge ; The Sugau - Munticelu Gorge; The Munticelu Cave;
			2^ND DAY, SUNDAY The Red Lake - The Rotunda Pass (1271 m) (220 km) Hiking in Ineu Massif: The Rotunda Pass - The Lala Mare Lake (1790m).. *Difficulty:* medium *Hiking time:* 4 ½ - 5 hours *Sightseeing objectives:* The Nichitas Peak (1451 m) - Panorama view from Ineut Peak, The Rosu Peak, The Cobasel Peak, The Muncelutu Peak, The Tomnatecu II Peak and Suhard massif - optional: The Ineut Peak (2222 m). Pitching the tents in The Lala Mare Lake area. Stay over night.
			3^RD DAY, MONDAY Unpitching the tents and leaving the campsite . Hiking in Rodnei : The Lala Mare Lake - Saua cu Lac (The Saddle with lake) (2140 m)- The Ineu Peak (2279 m) - Coasta Neteda (The Even Slope) - Tarnita lui Putredu (The Putredu Saddle) - The Cisa Peak (2036 m) - The Cisa Saddle - The Omului Peak (2134 m )- "La Cepi" Peak (2102 m)- Claii Peak (2117m ) - The Gargalau Peak (2158 m) - The Gargalau Saddle (1925 m) *Difficulty:* medium *Hiking time:* 6 ½ hours *Sightseeing objectives:* - Panorama view from The Suhardului Massif, The Calimani Massif, The Ceahlau Massif Pitching the tents in The Gargalau Saddle area. 			4^TH DAY, TUESDAY Unpitching the tents and leaving the campsite . Hiking: The Pietrosu Massif: The Gargalau Saddle - The Galatiului Saddle - The Galatiului Peak (2048 m) - The Puzdrelor Saddle - The Bârsanului Saddle - The Negoiasa Peak (2041 m) - The Negoieselor Saddle - The "La Carti" area - The Repede Peak (2074 m) - The Cormaia Peak (2033 m) - The Obârsia Rebrii Saddle - The Obârsia Rebrii Peak (2055 m) - The "La Cruce" Saddle Difficulty: medium Hiking time: 6 ½ hours Sightseeing objectives: - Panorama view from The Buhaescu Mare Peak, The Rebra Peak, The Pietrosu Peak The Pietrosu Mare Reserve. 			5^TH DAY, TUESDAY Unpitching the tents and leaving the campsite . The "La Cruce" Saddle - The Buhaescu Mare Peak (2119 m) - The Rebra Peak (2221 m) - The Pietrosu Peak (2303 m) - Borsa Difficulty: medium - hight Hiking time: 5 hours Sightseeing objectives: -- The Buhaescu Lakes -- Panorama view from Maramures County, The mountain range of Oas - Gutâi - Tibles, The Bârgau Massif and The Caliman Massif Pitching the tents in The "La Cruce" Saddle area. Stay over night. Stay over night in Borsa.
			6^TH DAY, TUESDAY Borsa - Moisei - Viseu de Sus - Sighetul Marmatiei (78km) Difficulty: very easy Hiking time: 1,5 hours -- Return in time: travelling by the single train on narrow railway from Europe on The Vaser Valley Stay over night in a guest house in Sighetul Marmatiei.
			7^TH DAY, TUESDAY Sighetul Marmatiei - Sapânta -Sighetul Marmatiei - Beclean Difficulty: very easy Walking time: 3 hours Highlights of the day: - Visit the unique merry graveyard in the world, Sapânta Graveyard - The wood church from Iza Valley. Stay over night in Sighetul Marmatiei.
			8^TH DAY, TUESDAY Return by car: Beclean - Reghin - Targu Mures - Sighisoara - Brasov - Ploiesti - Bucuresti Otopeni
